Family favourite British and International products are in high demand throughout France, particularly since it became less simple to get stuff imported from old Blighty. As the largest wholesale supplier of UK goods in the country, The Trading Post supplies an increasing number of French supermarkets with British foods, drinks and other hard-to-get culinary treats. Depending where you live, you could find Trading Post items in your nearest E.Leclerc, Intermarche, Carrefour, Casino, Spar or Vival.
It seems like hardly a week goes by without another supermarket signing up for our (often exclusive) imported goods. This means that everything from baked beans to bacon, cheddar cheese to Yorkshire tea, mustard to chicken tikka sauce and Dairy Milk chocolate to Fever Tree tonic is starting to appear on the shelves of some of the most well-known supermarkets in France. Whilst we already make fee-free personal deliveries to Collection Points throughout the country, we know that supplying local supermarkets can make the provision of must-have British staples extremely convenient. With many of the supermarkets existing in popular tourist areas in the Alpes-Maritime and Var departements, it also means you can find your favourite foodstuffs even when you are on holiday. The Carrefour in Les Houches (next to Chamonix) can supply your winter skiing trips and even our local Vival in Bourg Saint Maurice has something for everyone (and they are just down the road from our warehouse!)
In the Var region, you can currently find Trading Post goods at the following locations:
Intermarché Tourettes, Carrefour Callian and Spar La Môle
In the Alpes-Maritime region, you can currently find Trading Post goods at the following locations:
Intermarché Roquefort-les-Pins, Intermarche Peymeinade, Leclerc Vence and Casino Cap Ferrat.
With a number of additional supermarkets already on our books (and preparing for their first deliveries) we could be coming soon to a supermarket near you. Watch out!
