Product Description

  • Established by Shanta and L.G. Parthak in a small shop behind Euston station, Patak's has been supplying Indian pickles, sauces, spices and confectionary since the 1950s. Their Balti Curry Paste is a delicious, deep and layered base for medium-heat Indian dishes. Just add meat, fish, vegetables, seafood or paneer. Also available in 283g jars.

Storage

Best Before End: see lid. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use within 6 weeks of opening and before the best before end date.

Preparation and usage

  • Simply fry onion, ginger and garlic. Sizzle the spice paste to release flavours and brown your meat or vegetables. Add in chopped tomatoes and simmer until all cooked through. Garnish with fresh coriander to serve.
  • Serve alongside Patak's Naans, Pappadums, Chutneys and Pickles for the complete restaurant experience with your curry.
  • This product must be cooked before consumption
