Yamas Halloumi

The original squeaky cheese. Made with a mixture of cow, sheep and goat milk, this semi-hard, slightly salty traditional Cypriot cheese is great when fried, grilled or oven-baked. For an authentic taste of the Mediterranean simply cut into slices, gently fry in olive oil and serve with pitta bread and salad. Halloumi cheese is responsible for saving countless vegetarians at barbeques.
