Product Description
Twinings Earl Grey tea is THE Earl Grey tea. Created in 1831 by Richard Twining at the behest of Prime Minister Charles Grey, the premier apparently enjoyed his tea so much he put his name to it. Slavery was abolished in Britain during his tenure, but Earl Grey is still probably better known as a lover of tea rather than a leader of reform. Bergamot is used to flavour the tea leaves during production, lending every brew a distinctive, rich and floral flavour.
