• The reddest of the midlands' cheeses, Red Leicester is a favourite throughout Britain. Similar to Cheddar cheese but typically a bit more crumbly and made a rich red colour due to the addition of annatto. Makes a tasty and visually-pleasing addition to a gratin or a vibrant cheese on toast.
