Patak's Peshwari Naan


Product Description

  • Established by Shanta and L.G. Parthak in a small shop behind Euston station, Patak's has been supplying Indian pickles, sauces, spices and confectionary since the 1950s. Their restaurant-style Peshwari Naan is made with sultanas, coconut and a hint of cinnamon for a subtle sweet taste. The perfect counterpoint to a fiery curry.



Flour [Wheat Flour, Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin], Water, Sultanas (7%), Rapeseed Oil, Desiccated Coconut (3%), Sugar, Apple Juice (from Concentrate), Yogurt Powder (Milk), Yeast, Raising Agents (Diphosphates, Sodium Carbonates), Preservatives (Calcium Propionate, Potassium Sorbate), Ground Cardamom, Ground Cinnamon, Salt, Emulsifier (E472e), Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid)

For best before see front of pack. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, store in an airtight container and consume within 2 days. Suitable for home freezing.

Cooking Instructions

For oven or grill method, preheat and sprinkle naans lightly with water.

Set grill to medium. Heat for 1 min on each side

Oven cook
Set oven to Gas Mark 4 or 180°C. Heat for 4 mins

Set toaster to medium. Slice naan in half. Toast for 3 minutes 

Preparation and Usage

  • Dip scoop, tear and share with your favourite curry.
  • Try brushing with a little butter or ghee after cooking.
