  • Established by Shanta and L.G. Parthak in a small shop behind Euston station, Patak's has been supplying Indian pickles, sauces, spices and confectionary since the 1950s. The ideal base for mildly-spiced Indian dishes, the Mild Curry Spice Paste mixes eleven spices for an authentic yet accessible flavour. Supplied in a handy and easy-to-use squeezy tube.

Water, Mixed Spices (29%) [Coriander Powder (12%), Paprika Powder (4,5%), Turmeric Powder (3,5%), Cumin Powder (3,5%), Fenugreek Powder, Spices], Tamarind Paste, Sunflower Oil, Acidity Regulator (Acetic Acid), Salt, Corn Starch, Garlic Powder.

Storage

Best Before End: see tube. Store in a cool, dry place away. Once opened, keep refrigerated, use within 3 weeks and before the best before end date.

Preparation and usage

  • Simply fry onion, ginger and garlic. Sizzle the spice paste to release flavours and brown your meat or vegetables. Add in chopped tomatoes and simmer until all cooked through. Ripple through yoghurt and garnish with fresh coriander to serve.
  • Serve alongside Patak's Naans, Pappadums, Chutneys and Pickles for the complete restaurant experience with your curry.
  • This product must be cooked before consumption
