Product Description

  • Established by Shanta and L.G. Parthak in a small shop behind Euston station, Patak's has been supplying Indian pickles, sauces, spices and confectionary since the 1950s. Dopiaza (dupiaza or dopiazeh) is a curry dish rich in onions and tomatoes, which was apparently brought to South Asia by the Mughals, with the name being derived from the Persian for "two onions." A deliciously juicy, medium-heat sauce.

Best Before End: see lid. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened use immediately.

Preparation and usage

  • For chicken dopiaza:
  • Fry diced chicken for around 5 Mins in a little oil until sealed.
  • Add the sauce and simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Enjoy with rice or naan.
