Product Description

  • Established by Shanta and L.G. Parthak in a small shop behind Euston station, Patak's has been supplying Indian pickles, sauces, spices and confectionary since the 1950s. Patak's Butter Chicken sauce is a mild butter and tomato-based ready-made curry sauce enhanced by the fragrant flavours of fenugreek and cardamom. Add chicken or paneer for a rich and deeply satisfying Indian meal.

Storage

Best Before End: see lid. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened use immediately.

Preparation and usage

  • Fry diced chicken breasts or paneer for 5 Mins in a little oil until sealed.
  • Add the sauce and simmer for 15 Mins until the chicken or paneer is cooked through.
  • Try adding a handful of peppers whilst simmering the sauce.
  • Serve with Patak's Naans, Pappadums, Chutneys and Pickles for the complete restaurant experience.
