• Mrs Darlington's Legendary Lemon Curd is how the Mrs Darlington's brand started in 1980. A surplus of eggs from the family farm led to Marion Darlington making a batch of lemon curd which she sold door-to-door along with her fresh eggs. Soon after the local Brownie troop were collecting jars and Marion's own daughters were labelling each batch. With such a tangy, tasty curd, demand naturally increased and soon one of the farm buildings was converted for lemon curd production. Then came a range of jams, then chutneys, then more farm buildings were required... Nowadays Mrs Darlington's has an impressive range of jams, curds, chutneys, sauce, condiments and much more which can b found in discerning shops worldwide.
• The legendary lemon curd is fabulous on toast, fresh croissants or as an ingredient in many homemade cakes and bakes.
