Mrs Darlington's Farmer Tom's Pickle

(Code: DARLFARMPICK)

Product Description

  • Named after Farmer Tom, Mrs Darlington's husband, and renamed to celebrate his 95th birthday, Farmer's Pickle has become Farmer Tom's Pickle. It's filled with vegetable, Bramley apples, sugar, musatrd and spices. An excellent accompaniment to creamy cheeses or condiment for superlative sandwiches.
  • The Mrs Darlington's brand started in 1980 with homemade Lemon Curd. A surplus of eggs from the family farm led to Marion Darlington making a batch of lemon curd which she sold door-to-door along with her fresh eggs. Soon after the local Brownie troop were collecting jars and Marion's own daughters were labelling each batch. With such a tangy, tasty curd, demand naturally increased and soon one of the farm buildings was converted for lemon curd production. Then came a range of jams, then chutneys, then more farm buildings were required... Nowadays Mrs Darlington's has an impressive range of jams, curds, marmalades, chutneys, sauces, condiments and much more which can be found in discerning shops worldwide.
