Monkey 47 Gin (47%)

Product Description

  • Monkey 47 is distilled in the German Black Forest region and bottled in individually-numbered batches. Originally developed by the same British Air Force Commander who helped to rebuild Berlin Zoo after the war, the gin is named after a monkey he had sponsored. A complex blend of primarily floral aromas, it invites either careful investigation of the various flavours on display or, alternatively, simple enjoyment of the carefully balanced whole. When asked whether you have this particular spirit in your bar, you should be able to reply 'of course there is a monkey. There is always a monkey.'
