• Iced gems are tiny crunchy biscuits topped with little swirls of, equally crunchy, sweet icing. They are petit mouthfuls of sugary delight in a variety of fun colours and (subtle) flavours: lemon, raspberry and blackcurrant. A pretty iconic children's confection, each individual sachet (there are 5 sachets in a pack) contains a handful of these itty bitty biscuitty treats, ideal for post-lunch sweet snacking. Iced gems packets now feature the mascot Quiffy bear, whose haircut presumably reflects the whippy asthetic of the iced gems themselves, whilst his polar bear-like appearance might be related to the eponymous "ice." Now sure about the name Quiffy though.
