  • Despite being named after a port in Uruguay, Fray Bentos is a UK brand that makes iconic tinned meat pies in Fochabers in Scotland. The world-renowned Steak and Kidney Pie is filled with succulent pieces of steak and kidney and topped with the inimitably delicious Fray Bentos puff pastry lid.

Cooking Instructions

Oven cook

Remove lid using a can-opener before cooking. Place on a baking tray in a pre-heated oven (425°F / 220°C / Gas mark 7). Bake for 25-30 minutes or until crust has risen and is golden brown.
For fan-assisted ovens: follow manufacturer's guidelines for temperature and cooking time.
Ensure product is piping hot before serving.
