Product Description

A professional preparation for potatoes and chips, Drywite No.2 Potato Preparation prevents discolouration in fresh cut chips and peeled potatoes, whilst keeping them perfectly dry ready for the fry. It keeps chips fresh for up to 48 hours, reducing unnecessary wastage. A chip shop must-have



Preservative E223 for foodstuffs (restricted use).

Keep contents dry.

Preparation and Usage

  • Rinse chips thoroughly to remove starch. Mix 50g of Drywite thoroughly with 25 litres of cold water, add to chips and stir. Soak chips for exactly 15 minutes. Drain the chips and leave them to dry for at least 1 hour. Store the now ready-to-fry chips in a cool (10°C) dry place for up to 48 hours.
