Product Description

Everyone loves pizza, even those people who are completely intolerant of gluten. This pizza base mix gives the gluten-free community freedom:tThe freedom to do what they want to do (as long as what they want to do is make, then eat, pizzas). This packet will make two thin, crisp pizzas or one large 'deep pan' pizza-pie.

Ingredients

Brown rice flour, potato starch, chickpea flour, tapioca starch, maize flour, yeast, salt, thickener (xanthan gum), antioxidant (ascorbic acid).

  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
  • Gluten free.
  • Source of fibre.

Preparation

  • 175g FREEE Pizza Base Mix, 200ml tepid water, 1.5 tbsp oil (plus oil for tray).
  • Oil a baking tray. Put half the pizza mix into a large bowl, add water & oil. Stir to make a thick paste. Tip paste onto baking tray, spread into a 30cm circle. Leave in a warm place for 30 mins. Pre-heat oven (220°C/200°C fan). Prick all over pizza base with a fork. Bake for 20 mins. Add toppings to pizza. Bake for a further 10-12 mins.
