  • Bonne Maman apricot jam. In the UK it is sometimes called apricot conserve and, for some reason, it is also known as "extra" jam. It is super jammy, but how do you judge when a jam becomes "extra" jammy? Apricot jam is excellent for all the usual jam applications: toast, croissants, scones, etc... It is also indispensible for a number of bakes, especially when you need a thin layer between your Christmas fruit cake and royal icing.
