Traditionally made with apples, onion, soy and amind-blowing combination of spices, Katsu sauce has come from Japan to endlessly improve your stir-fry experience. Despite often being called katsu curry sauce, it is actually rather mild in terms of heat, with the dominant flavours being sweet, tangy and umami, which some people have described as akin to a Japanese BBQ sauce.
