Product Description

  • A traditional accompaniment to roasted lamb or venison, redcurrant jelly (also known as redcurrant sauce or redcurrant jam) is excellent served with most cooked meats, including sausages, chicken, turkey and oily fish. Redcurrant jelly is actually very versatile, as it is equally as complimentary to cold meats, cheese platters and traditional pork pies. However, being fruity, sweet and tart, it is also suitable for various desserts; you can dollop some on a baked vanilla cheesecake to contrast the rich, creaminess, or use it as a shimmering glaze atop strawberry or raspberry tarts.
