TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Nothing in this agreement affects your statutory rights.

At our sole discretion we may change any part of this site. It is your responsibility to check if any alterations have occurred and any further orders placed by you, will constitute your acceptance of these terms.

All descriptions pictures and weights are those of the original manufacture and are intended to give a general description of the goods only. The weight to be shipped includes the weight of packaging for the goods.

Non-Stock Items: In the event a brand / quantity combination being unavailable or discontinued, we will act according to the information supplied by the customer on the order details screen.

  1. If an item is not available in the requested weight and the customer has requested we supply a different weight combination, then we will attempt to supply a larger quantity of the same item type but in smaller weights, the total weight will either equal or exceed the original amount requested, or an appropriate refund will be given.
  2.  If an item is not available in the requested brand, and the customer has requested we supply a different brand, we will supply an alternative brand of the same or greater value, or an appropriate refund will be given.
  3.  If a customer has requested we delay dispatch until a brand or weight is available, we will hold onto the order for up to a maximum of 30 days, at which point we will contact the customer for further instructions.

Dispatch and Delivery: Delivery times are based on our couriers and are approximate. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept delivery. If for any reason we cannot dispatch your order within 5 working days, we will notify you by e-mail.

Card Payments: Only recognised credit and debit cards are accepted as payment. Online payments are made through Banque Populaire des Alpes. These are all processed using secure security systems.

Liability: TheTradingPost.fr  will accept no responsibility or cost whatsoever if delivery of any product is delayed as a result of anything out of its control; i.e. Act Of God, flood, fire, war, industrial action.


REFUNDS POLICY

In the unfortunate case that we make a mistake with your order, then we will of course refund the cost of the items and shipping.

In the unlikely event of an item arriving damaged, please contact us within 24 hours. We may request photographic evidence via email. If we are at fault due to faulty packaging, we will refund your money without delay.

If you make a mistake and order the wrong products, we are unable to offer a refund for the goods purchased or for the shipping costs.

In line with UK Distant Selling Regulations, if you purchase any non-food items from our site and subsequently change your mind for any reason, as long as all items remain undamaged, unopened, and returned to us within 7 days of receipt in their original packaging, we will refund the item costs. You will only be charged for the shipping costs.

You can access our home page and browse our site without disclosing personal information. However, by submitting Personal Data to us you accept that we may process your Personal Data in accordance with BritishShoppingOnline.com

TheTradingPost.fr is committed to integrity and professionalism in all areas of its services and therefore we take our obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (the "Act") very seriously. We will use reasonable endeavours to protect your privacy and ensure that Personal Data (as defined in the Act) is used only for the purposes below. Any Personal Data (which includes your name, address and any other details you provide to us which concern you as an individual) that we collect via the web site shall be collected and processed in accordance with the Act and we shall only use it for:

  1. collecting and processing your order; or
  2. providing other marketing information which we think you may find of interest; or
  3. undertaking product or customer research and development.

In the unlikely event that a liquidator, administrator or receiver is appointed over us or all or any part of our assets, that insolvency practitioner may transfer your information to a third party purchaser of the business provided that purchaser undertakes to use your information for the same purposes as set out in this policy. We undertake not to provide your Personal Data to third parties save in accordance with this policy.

We undertake to take reasonable steps, including the implementation of security policies, rules and technical measures, necessary to protect the Personal Data that we have under our control from unauthorised access, improper use and disclosure, unauthorised destruction or accidental loss.

Although we will do our best to protect your data, transmission of data over the internet is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our site, and any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your data we will use strict procedures and security features to try and prevent unauthorised access.
